Whilst studying 3d Design at the University of the Arts London, and since graduating in 2007 Alicia Ongay -Perez has completed internships at Faye Toogood, Stuart Haygarth, Zoe Bradley, and has most recently been at Nacho Carbonell in Eindhoven. Alicia’s works in a range of different media, and crosses the disciplines of Product Design, Graphics, Animation, Installation and Book Arts. Whilst freelancing individually, she often works in collaboration with Ann Louise Tingelof as the collective Knock Knock Design. Together they have exhibited in London at Maverick Showrooms, New Designers and at Pulse 09. Exhibiting for the first time in the Netherlands at Strijp X, they will be showcasing two stop frame animation films, which are based on imaginary products.
 “Chequered is based on a builders joke. We learnt that often on a first day, a young builder will be sent ot buy chequered paint. We liked the idea. It Might Never Happen is about a responsive tissue box that attempts to cheer you up!”
