Dutch Design Week 17 – 25th October, 2009
Strijp-X presents an exhibition by Atelierdorp, a collective of designers working and living in Eindhoven. Chaos / Order investigates how different styles can co-exist without conflict, how one can assemble without friction, juxtapose things fairly, and group together and maintain multiple identities.

Atelierdorp is an unconventional and occasional collective of designers who feel united for as yet inexplicably reasons. Within the building, a former church, there is often a big chaos. But if you look more closely, you will see that in the midst of the chaos, great new things are popping up; new designs that are presented all over the world.

The exhibition is presented in a democratic way. It’s not the ‘big’ design names that lead the show but a gathering of the entire collective, including the interns and students working at the church.
