Since graduation from Brighton University in Interior Architecture, Henry has changed paths in a design sense, moving into the direction of furniture design rather than pursuing a career in Architecture. Moving to Holland at the turn of the year, currently working freelance for Nacho Carbonell and being apart of the Atelierdorp design collective. His main interests deal with noticing the furniture/space around you, creating bonds between people and objects, with the aim to create new emotions with the furniture we use everyday. The vision is that the furniture will be hand built, looking to bring a craft essence back into design and to begin to look at the old techniques, which are beginning to become obsolete. |
