Almost all cities are constantly rebranding themselves, and recently design tends to be on the forefront a lot. How does it strengthen a city and what use is it to a designer?

Strijp-x presents 5 talented young designers who’ve just graduated from the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. These graphic designers in particular always seem to add an extra dimension to their 2d work.

Strijp-X and almost 40 other initiatives will have an open day on Strijp-S on the 11th of July. Almost every form of creative discipline comes to light in this area, also known as ‘the creative city’
