On the eve of the first StrijpmiX event on the 28th of August, Strijp-x will present a debate on city branding. The conversation will be about Eindhoven as World Design Capital, Brabantcity European Capital of Culture and Design as the identity of a city. Almost all cities are constantly rebranding themselves, and recently design tends to be on the forefront a lot. How does it strengthen a city and what use is it to a designer?
