Illustrations are the basics of the work of Suzanne van der Aa. The usage of those differ between graphics and fashion accessories. A part of a drawing can be the impulse to a product or collection. Far From Now is a jewelry collection of necklaces and rings which partly are literally taken from her drawing collection City Sides. Those graphics, colorful handmade silk-screens, variate from small sizes like 10 x 15 cm to big scale posters of 60 x 85 cm. Suzanne van der Aa has an explicit style which she uses in both two- as three dimensional designs. Suzanne van der Aa is co-founder of the bags label EXITOS.
